Privacy Policy

Clabr is built by QReply, registered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible.

What we store

• Email address — used for authentication and account recovery. This is the only personal identifier we store.
• Profile content — what you offer, what you need, and your network ambition. You write this yourself. No real names or phone numbers are required.
• Approximate location — when you set your workspace, we store it as a 1 km grid block. We do not store your exact address or GPS coordinates. You choose your location yourself.
• Chat messages — messages you exchange with other Clabrs are stored to enable conversations.
• Collab history — records of confirmed collaborations and ratings.

What we do NOT store

• Real names (your display name is a username you choose)
• Phone numbers
• Exact addresses or precise GPS data
• Payment information (handled by third-party payment processors)

Chat moderation

Your chats are private by default. However, when a conversation is flagged by a user (e.g. for spam or abusive behavior), QReply staff may review the flagged conversation to investigate and enforce our Community Guidelines. Only flagged conversations are reviewed — we do not monitor or read chats proactively.

How we use your data

• Matching — your profile content and location are used by our AI to find relevant matches nearby.
• Communication — your email is used to send account-related notifications (e.g. collab confirmations). You can manage notification preferences in your settings.
• Platform improvement — we may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the matching algorithm and user experience.

Third parties

We use the following services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU-hosted)
• OpenAI — AI matching and profile enrichment. Profile content (not your email) is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not use this data for training.
• Vercel — frontend hosting
• Fly.io — backend hosting (Amsterdam region)

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your data — your profile shows everything we store
• Correct your data — edit your profile at any time
• Delete your data — delete your account from your profile settings, and all your data will be permanently removed
• Export your data — contact us and we will provide a full export
